Provenance: Irving Fine Art, 1990; Private Collection, NSW since then.
Exhibited: Upward moved to England in 1962 and to London the following year. This painting may have been shown at his exhibition at the Rowan Gallery in 1964, though by then he was moving to his horoscope paintings which were very different both chromatically and structurally.
