Jeff Makin, 'Wilma Earns Her Stripes,' (exhibition review), Herald Sun, 14 June, 2006:
Makin describes “the aesthetic of the stripe – with its power to reverberate, oscillate and wrench the retina out of its comfort zone” as being central to Tabacco’s 2006 exhibition which was “a further refinement of her investigation into the dynamics of chromatic phenomena, crisply painted stripes and latticed lines running off the canvas.” He writes: “… one of the main aims of Op artists was to activate the space between the picture plane and the eye, and here Tabacco succeeds in a dazzling manner.”;
The exhibition In the Blinking of an Eye was reviewed by Sasha Grishin (Colourful Sweeps, Canberra Times, 23 November, 2007)
