Charles Nodrum Gallery presents a selection of Melbourne-based artists who practice geometric abstraction, including watercolours by Lesley Dumbrell and new 3-d printed hand painted sculpture by Samara Adamson-Pinczewski.  Also, new work by Justin Andrews and Louise Forthun - both of whom the gallery has recently announced representation in Melbourne.  Alongside these abstract works will be paintings by Jan Murray and Sadie Chandler, and a look back at Kristin Headlam’s much loved paintings of Melbourne parks and gardens.  Finally, paintings and works on paper by Australia’s most committed surrealist James Gleeson whose estate is managed by the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Since its establishment in 1984, the Charles Nodrum Gallery’s exhibition program embraces a diversity of media and styles - from painting, sculpture & works on paper to graphics and photography; from figurative, geometric, gestural, surrealist & social comment to installation & conceptually based work.
