Literature & references: James Gleeson, the Sun, 30 August 1972: 'Bhavsar coats his canvases with clear acrylic and then throws dry powered pigment into the air so that it settles onto the surface and is bound to it by the acrylic. the result is a kind of shimmering mist of colour which works upon the eye rather in the manner of an extremely impressionistic painting.'
