The Doug Moran National Portrait Prize is one of the most significant art prizes in Australia, with an annual award of $150,000 for excellence in portraiture. It is an acquisitive prize, with the winning piece becoming the property of the Moran Arts Foundation Collection.
Each year the 30 Finalists are exhibited at Juniper Hall, Paddington.
From the semi-finalists, 30 Finalists will be announced on Wednesday 17th October, and the Winners announced on Thursday November 1st.
The judges this year are Dr Ron Radford, Ms Louise Hearman & Mrs Greta Moran.
