Geoffrey De Groen - Eight Paintings from 1973-1974, Charles Nodrum Gallery, 10 April - 3 May, 2008, no. 5
One of a series of works executed with a spray gun in which subtle shifts from one colour to another proceed diagonally from one corner of the canvas to another. They range from the dark and sombre (as here) to the pale and diaphanous - both evoking faintly atmospheric effects of sunset and sunrise respectively.
